I purchased this adapter because several reviews of the Canon adapter weren't so great.I have found this adapter to be well made and have a very good fit both on the camera and the tele-converter.
I have the Canon tele-converter (TC-DC58D).After attaching this adapter to the lens, you can use the lens' original rear cap on the lens adapter and the entire assembly fits into the bag that came with the TC-DC58D.Very slick.
You should also note that the picture is not accurate.The adapter isn't tapered and it's a two-part adapter (like the Canon).Although I have no idea why it's a two-part adapter.
